Free daily color guessing game

Chroma is a free daily color game for the visually minded: mix three shades in the right proportions to match a hidden color in six tries. No words, just real color science. A fresh color every day in your browser, no signup.

The short version

Chroma is free, plays in your browser with no account, and refreshes every day at midnight US Eastern. Mix colors and dial their proportions to match the day’s hidden shade in six tries. Play today’s Chroma.

01 How Chroma works

Each day there is one hidden target color. You pick colors from a palette and set how much of each goes into the mix, then submit your blend. Chroma grades both your color choices and how close the mix lands, so every guess teaches you which shade to push and which proportion to nudge. You have six tries to match it.

02 Free, and new every day

Like every game here, Chroma is free, needs no account, and works on your phone or desktop with nothing to download. One fresh color is published each day, the same for everyone, and it resets at midnight US Eastern. It plays in a few minutes, then you are done until tomorrow.

03 Easy vs hard mode

Easy mode mixes three colors toward the target; hard mode gives you four colors to balance, which makes the proportions much fussier for the same win. If you want a break from word games, Chroma is a purely visual daily puzzle. Browse the full lineup on the Greatest Games homepage.
