About the Midi Crossword archive
A dated puzzle is not a fresh generation. It is the same grid everyone else played that morning, kept exactly as it ran. Nothing is retired once it is printed, so the run only gets longer. Open a day you missed, or work through a stretch of it in order.
Your first solve of a date is the one that counts toward your record, so a second visit to the same day is practice. A new Midi Crossword is printed every day at midnight US Eastern.
